    One of the most un-American things I've seen in some time today.
    On Easter Sunday of all days, the DOT sets up portable inspection stations, both sides of I-90, in South Dakota just west of Minnesota.

    On Easter Sunday.

    Has anyone seen my country? I know I left it here someplace.

    May be Easter, but it's April, 1st...

    Time to enforce the mandate...

    ... and besides, when did this society (in general) start to care about the holiday aspect of a day and not the MONEY MAKING part of it? Hmmm.... We lost that when Xmas decorations and sales started to appear before Halloween.

    North Sioux city and sisseton on 29 only rarely closes ...and I've never seen wb 90 at Brandon closed .

    I could see it if it was a fixed or super coup, but setting up portables on Easter Sunday?

    Every other coup was closed, super and common garden variety.

    They know Its a holiday Dave ...what better time to filler up with fat cattle or grain ?
    So.Dakota declared war on over weight trucks several years ago .

    April fools and its snowing here in Missouri.
    Saw 3 swift trucks driving in it and staying out of the ditches...mother nature sure is funny sometimes... By the way the tractors had the golden mark of swift but the trailers just had numbers but no logo...they figure it saves them money cause there gonna be scrap soon anyway ?? Ah well hope everyone had a good easter and go suck an egg...lol

    And when the driver is stopped by the surprise portables.. The Cattle all look at each other and say

    "Hey guys,There's potential we may not get slaughtered today"

    Don't be surprised to find Nebraska or Iowa open at 2 am either ....and closed all day .
