On my USIS reports i am getting back from companies its showing a dwi that is not mine. The only similarity is the name but companies are telling me that they cant take me because of my dwi. When I show them that it is for a different person they say I need to see why its showing up on my report. Any suggestions on how to get it cleared. I conataced usis and sent in a dispute form but they say that can take up to 30 days for me to get a reply. Living off unemployment aint cutting it.

You need hire an attorney in the state that shows the DUI to have it removed. The state that put it there is the only people that may remove it.
Happens quite a bit. Minimum wage clerks with fat fingers on the keyboard transpose 1 number or hit an extra number & that's the end result.

Yeah, and since they force you to retain an attorney on your dime to fix this...
Sue the state officals involved for defamation of character and recovery of attorney fees. (individuals in civil court... don't mess with the state)
Perhaps then, minimum wage clerks with fat fingers on the keyboard transpose 1 number or hit an extra number & that's the end result... will be more diligent in their duties.

i appreciate that im in tx and this all started bout 3 months ago i will definitely call a few attorneys to see what they say

You should find an attorney at the local level in your area if it is the same state as the conviction. Just about any attorney can do it, even a new one fresh from law school. It's not that hard to do but it still takes an attorney to do it.

Depending on what state your in try the public defenders office to see if they can help or a paralegal they are the ones who do all the work for your lawyers any how
