Do all Truckers whine about their companies?

Well said...I perfectly agree!

 

Seems to me your preference as a sailor is just to proudly stand and do perfectly nothing while your captain is obviously running the ship straight towards the iceberg into a certain wreck...you just feel honoured you can die for your captain just because he wants you to...even more, you will happily even help him board the only lifeboat to save his ### while you are proudly going down with the ship?
Or...you are just an old blind and deaf man having no clue what is actually happening around you nor what hit you.
Wish you could be able to see some bigger picture.

I agree.... BUT, get smart, call them on their BS and lies. And if you can't find answers, buy your own truck, or move along to another one, that does the same thing...

 

I love my company, and couldn't be any happier. its a 10 truck company. The owner is one of the drivers. He also does most of the managerial stuff. His son is the dispatcher (19 years old and quick as a whip). His mother in law does the books. His sister in law is one of the drivers, and his son's wife does the fuel tracking.

Not only is it a family run company, but they also try their best to consider their drivers family as well. The christmas party was great. They drew names and top prize won a 2000 dollar travel gift certificate. I was floored when I saw that. They are some of the most humble people I have ever met. I was even invited over to their house to get out of the cold when my truck wouldn't start with jelled up fuel tanks.

Couldn't ask for a better boss. No complaints here.

 

My wife just told me I suck! And I own the company! One guess as to what she is ######## about? Money, go figure? So what else is new?

So who has the magic pill to get her off of my back? Yea, I'm #####y too. Go figure?

If I did that she would think I was screwing around! Screwing around in the "bad" way. Divorce would be around the corner... Saving grace though, neither of us have anywhere to go!

Daaaamn. Sounds like my future son in law.

He proudly announced if him and my daughter got into a fight. He would be coming to stay with me until it blew over. Cuz she cant/won't go to her moms. And his mother would be riding his ### to no end about it.

 

I have one of them... A son in law... They ran into trouble, he moved in... Into our empty concrete floor, no heat, no mattress, no pillow... but I gave him a blanket... Michigan basement... He got it together in about a week. End of story.

I just talked to him, the grand kids are coming tomorrow.

Gotta know how to handle em.
