90% of the time. They usually schedule them with a little bit of a cushion unless we’re behind and playing catch up.

I plan on staying out a month each time out, but I’ve been bad this year, waiting till the last minute to due taxes. So I’m going on a few days early. Plus a band I see every year at the fall bike rally in Panama City Beach is playing close to home for the first time, so I need to check them out. I’ll stay out till the end of May next run.

I believe I’m starting to have another truck issue. The engine feels like it’s “surging”. RPM’s slightly go up and down when I’m loaded. Kills me on a hill and when I top it, it has a miss in it.

That’s aggravating. Hopefully you don’t have to go to a shop and they can fix it in Florida. I loaded in Fresno yesterday morning. I’m sitting in Santa Rosa, New Mexico taking my 10. Covered 631 miles today. Still had 39 minutes of drive time. Not quite enough to get to Tucumcari. If you end up in the shop they’ll pay motel.

Hopefully so. I loaded yesterday morning in Delano and made it to Williams, AZ. Felt like I drove in CA all day. Lol. Don’t have to be in Joplin till Friday morning. I hope to be in Amarillo today as long as my truck holds up.

I got a message from dispatch this morning wondering if I would be interested in another California load after a reset. I hated to say no, but I have to be home next weekend. The tax man needs to see me. Lol. I deliver in the am. Not sure the plan, but I’m on recap hrs and after tonight, I only gain 11 hrs over the next two days.

    Tanker_82, motocross25 and Crusader66 Thank this.

I stopped at my house in Okc and did a 34. I just left out at 430am. Headed to the Northeast still with this Canada load.

Finishing up my 34 here in Joplin. Heading down to Memphis to pick up a yeast loaf and head to Houston. Has anyone been to HEB in Houston? It says on the directions that it is a driver unload facility. They don’t assist.

I thought IRT didn’t allow drivers to unload?

That’s why I’m asking. A first I’ve heard of something like this. Could be a mistake too.
