As long as you don’t abuse it they don’t say anything. They don’t micromanage or hold your hand here. They treat you like an adult.

How far off the coast?

Thanks. The recruiter was talking about the quarterly bonus and mentioned routing and out of route .
-
When I was still company, I got the .04 bonus each quarter. Unlike some other bonus programs, it’s very achievable.Modlite11 Thanks this.

It was near One of the islands... But it was close enough to shake buildings in downtown Los Angeles

runningman0661 Thanks this. -
I think if you stay under 8 percent on out of route miles you get the penny a mile for the quarter. It's not hard to do..Modlite11 Thanks this.
-
I was broke down for a little over 2 weeks in January and ran over 31000 miles for the quarter. Very achievable, but I'm a owner operator so I only get a penny a mile and a free blue beacon truck wash.
runningman0661 and Modlite11 Thank this. -
Dang, two weeks? Did they offer a loaner for you? Was it the fuel pump issue? I have had two trucks here that the whole high pressure fuel rail system had to be replaced.

I was thinking about putting in my app for fcc but you guys are starting to make me sound lazy driving over 3000 miles every week they told me I would be home every week but if I'm driving 3000 or so miles a week doesn't sound like much time at home

I think most regional guys average closer to 2700 miles a week. And according to the regional guys I’ve talked with are home for a 34 on average. I guess it would depend where you live.
