ELD exempt trucks or gliders

The big guys aren't going to let you do that. Maybe some smaller van or reefer outfit would. I'd say find a cattlehauler outfit they'll go for that.

 

Where my dad is leased on to is a smaller outfit, maybe 20 owner ops and 6-7 company drivers. Anyways about half the o/o here run pre 2000 trucks on paper. My dads is a 1993

 

Instead of looking for a company that will encourages you to break hos to make any money, why not simply look for a company that pays better?

 

Maybe it's a company that pays the same and doesn't go ####### if you push your hours to maximize your pay? You don't get the nice looking rig and decent acreage off sitting around 10 hours a day because" government knows best"

 

I am leased to the flatbed division of a very mega megacarrier. They allow pre-1999 trucks to follow the regulations. They are super strict that if we have violations, or turn in logs late, well be on ELD. So far, so good.

 

If your talking about my post the company is very strict when it comes to violations and its not cheap freight by any means

 

I too run legal, and I don't want one of those things.
