Converting 3 pedal Autoshift to manual

Yep, u need factory password, but u can easily get it, just use detroit hotline

 

hello pablo, today we just pull out 18 speed eaton smart shift to convert to manual, everything seems ok, i am a bit worry about the re wiring of speed sensor, could you help me?

Did conversion with new clutch, break clutch and rear main seal for around $3000.00 tell him fredy from Jacksonville fl send you!!! By the way my truck is a kw t2000 2008 with eaton fuller autoshift with 3 pedals.

 

i have the same problem with my freightleiner columbia 2006 smart shift,i put a new x y shifter new harness new all sensors new clutch, still have the fault code

 

What about converting from a manual to an autoshift?

 

Have Freightliner Cascadia 2009 with 2 pedal Eaton automatic.
For the last month was tired of those sensors and was towed twice.
Count approximately repair of exist and choose to change for manual.
Found guy, he said that it's not a problem to change. Will see result on next week.
Never will buy again truck with automatic transmission , salt, water and you have problem . Even driving is not smooth...

Why would you do that with all the potential troubles associated with the Eaton Auto Junk shift? Just ended my nightmare by converted back to manual.
A question for others. I lost the cruise control after the conversion. Any ideas about proper wiring for it with the manual? The high idle function still works so must be a dropped connection associated with a speed sensor?

 

Check brake pedal or clutch pedal switch, cruise will not operate if it shows on or activated.
