US gallon is smaller than Imperial gallon. US trucks are usually in the 80k range. Canada we generally pull heavier multi axles and trains. I know when I get 140K on I get gallons per mile.

A company I worked for about 10 years ago had mainly Scania P420s. Mine would be towing a double 90% of the time with anything from an empty skel set to a full GVM, it used to return 6-7MPG (US)!

2018/2019 International LT's, X15 500/1850 box stock, 22.5 rubber, 3:42 rear ends, 13 speed eaton ultrashift plus, 73inch sky rise, 35-38.5L per 100/km. So 6-7mpg US, pulling heavy tandem/tridem reefers and vans Alberta to Vancouver and back. By comparison, the A26 with 450hp/1750TQ doesn't do much better, but is WAY slower/Weak Jakes/Dies on Hills. (Winter Fuel).Last edited: Apr 14, 2018
