Sure ... I'd like to hear this

 

Ths truck doesn't cut off when drive line hits 11 hours. If you drive over then guess what? You have violated HOS and there is now a nice record of it. They will catch plenty of people doing this.

 

They go through a check list for reasons to shut you down, ding your record for your insurance rates to increase, and mayby even tow your rig away.

 

Duck down as you come up to the checkpoint, slow down and put a sign in the window that says Autonomous Truck, then keep going. 60% of the time, it works every time.

 

Keep the garbage off the dash, don’t make eye contact and let the jakes eat for at least a half mile before the scale so they know your coming.

 

Ouch!!! Driver assume the position!!! and back in the office...slowly!

 

Don't forget to slam on the brakes when you stop on the scale...they love that!!!

 

You forgot to tell him about the English literacy test and the dope sniffing dog.

 

Oh and shower more then once a week....I know it ain't Saturday but trust me you'll get thru a little easier!! And a little respect goes a long way!!! I will never understand drivers being confrontational with a Bear. They have the gun and the badge..but more importantly the PEN!!!!

 

My guess is that they will be looking closely at ELD's this year since there are so many newbies using them right now. A perfect excuse to write tons of expensive HOS tickets.

I had a DOT agent show me his ELD diagnostic computer a couple months ago in Oregon. For you guys that like to start your 30 at the fuel pumps then idle forward and park in front of the fuel island for the rest of your break, they can see that on their system even though you can't on your ELD. Their program shows position changes of more than 3 feet. He showed me how it worked. Said he gets a lot of HOS violators that way.
