I’m in Chicago area driving local O/O I’m 19 getting paid 2.60$ per mile or 490$ per round trip which is 185 miles

 

Anything going within 50mi of Chicagoland is a very safe move right now. So much freight moving out of the Chicago area its ridonkulous.

Yeah I get that. Wish I knew what and where he was hauling. Would have been nice to get one of his loads last week when I was deadheading through. Maybe he already has a good relationship with the trucks he’s using.

I meant to say that the company is getting $3+ per mile on their contract freight. That's not what they are paying their lease ops though.
