Yep, the X is stated in my previous post as being the designator of it being a glider is accurate after I plugged it into the link you posted. Not a single G anywhere in my VIN. I asked Harrison about this when I bought it, and they said it was the X that designated the glider. The FV before the X in the VIN references that it was an incomplete assembly. Either way, I am not sure anyone at the state office really even looked. But thanks for posting the link! Others should find it useful.

Bought the glider from Harrrisons! It came with a Iowa title and a certificate of title transfer signed by a notary.

all gliders 4th vin is a x

Maybe not. There is not an "x" in the entire VIN of my 2013 FL glider. The key letter in FL gliders is "z" that designates a glider. My last 8 are DLBZ9268. The Z is the identifier as a glider.

Unfortunately that’s not entirely true either our last 6 BX4285. I personally went into Arizona DMV to register it absolutely nothing to distinguish it being a glider.

Untrue.
We have 10 2014 Kenworth gliders. None have an X in the VIN.
Try using this:

Again, untrue. Kenworth uses a G to denote glider where the engine info goes in the VIN.

Gliders have 17 digit numbers these days? Mine was built in 94 and only has like 8 digits, gave the insurance lady fits without 17 digits lol.

Kenworths do. And I'm fairly certain all other mfgs do as well.OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this.

Thank you Sir. When the dust settled my insurance lady found that the lack of numbers, only needed to be replaced with continuous 1's. Like this 1111111.
