Does anyone have a list of medications one is not allowed to take while being a truck driver? All help is appreciated.

You can pretty much rule out any medication that says "Do not operate heavy equipment or drive" while taking this medication.

Even then you can get a deferral from your Doctor, if you only take the meds at bedtime.

The new one (last year) that helped quit smoking. Isn't allowed...period.

Even NyQuil can get you popped for driving under the influence.

You should be ok unless you need some heavy pain killers Just ask your doctor and tell him you drive a semi! Drive safe Flannel.

If you ride in the truck with the driver does the medication you have or take matter???
