So is this just with this particular model or year engine? I have 2014 ISX 15 450hp with about 390k miles should I be replacing the fuel pump?
2013 T680?

300 to 400k miles is YES recommend sooner than later in that range. Make sure you get the updated plungers in the fuel pump (non ceramic) ... ESPECIALLY if you know the pump has never been changed out.
You can get rebuild kits for the plungers but if you have someone else do it... got to make sure it actually gets done
Good luck, it’s definitely worth considering -
Keep running that Classic till the wheels fall off, then buy another. You don't want down time, and 2010-2014 emissions motors (unmodified) are notorious for downtime. DEF is a scam, avoid it at all costs.

I have a great driver in the classic, eventually I will replace it with something else, but it will be a while.
Just wish it had better fuel economy. -
What’s he getting for fuel economy? I know there’s like ten million variables but I’m running a ISX 425/10 Speed and I’m lucky to see 7.0mpg at 65mph... plus you have all the aforementioned issues previous users have posted. It’s a tough sell.

That truck get about 5.8-6 as long as he keeps the speed reasonable.

I'm surprised a T680 even made it to 700k miles. those things are junk

Right?
Company truck had the little side marker lite in the headlamp assembly quit working. I looked everywhere for the plug?
Nope.... part of the assembly! $600.00
