Are the trailers weighed already? Do you have to scale it or don't have to worry about all that?

Dollar Tree DC in Stockton had a scale on site. Others don't. I would scale to be sure on heavy ones because they like to load heavy right over the tires. Had alot of trailers that had to be reloaded or product removed
x1Heavy Thanks this. -

Don’t do it. #### no! Target or Walmart reefer? Sure! Those accounts pay very well and you can make a ton of money. Anything with Dollar in the name, stay away! A recruiter from US Express called me like 8 months after I applied and tried to tell me about a wonderful dedicated opportunity. I asked her if it was Walmart and she’s like no it’s Dol... no thanks, I value my DAC. Don’t ####ing do it.

i live in GA. my friend couldn't get hire by Schneider so he went to Werner at the end of his 2 or 3 weeks of orientation he had to work as "SLAVE DRIVER" with trainer that sat on the passenger seat for 15 min before he went to bed and the company asked him for 230 hours before he get his truck. that like a month and half if not 2 months of driving OTR with "Trainer" and get 500$ a week. my time with Schneider OTR with trainer was ONE WEEK ONLY and it was me and my bro at the same time and the trainer CAN"T GO TO BED HE HAVE TO BE ON DUTY for 14 h max a day while we driving so each of us 7 hours ish for like 6 days or 7 can't remember. and when we got back there was questionnaire we had to fill about your trainer and one of the question did your trainer use his phone or even look at it while you drive LOL they are that picky about trainer and make sure he was actually train you when you drive... ohhh and because we are 2 ppl with him in the truck we slept in a hotel EVERY night while on this week then back to 1 week of orientation in the operation center so all in all we literally spent 3 weeks on training before we got our truck and we are freshly school graduate. 1 week at the OC then 1 week on the road and the last week on the OC again sleep in a hotel every night.
i don't understand why ppl go to any other company if they have the option for tanker (we don't work at tanker division cause am teaming with my bro and they didn't have team tanker account for us yet) but a very small search online you will know for sure Tanker will get you more money why not doing it? and don't tell me its dangerous cause if HE and SHE can do it you can do it and be safe and careful. also i still don't get anyone go and work as slave driver for trainer and get 500$ a week when there is a company ask you for 1 week on the road only.... I understand if you don't have the option but if you do have the option BEST COMPANY FOR A VAN (Not sure which the best for tanker fresh graduate) is Schneider just because of the fact that they really train you and make you ready.
to answer the OP if you have any other option than the GD/FD take it as its def better and if you can go to Schneider do it and TBH if there is a company that hire you and train you for tanker this would be the best option IMORocknroller4 Thanks this. -

i didn't say FD is better with Schneider. maybe i didn't worded correctly am sorry about that. English isn't my first language. i was saying for fresh graduate to go train SNI is way way better than Werner and i think its better than any other company for training...
then i said ANYTHING is definitely better than working for DG/FD account. i don't know when i said FD is better with SNI
actually i remember when i was at orientation with SNI they have exp drivers doing their orientation and 2 of em came from another company on the dedicated family dollar account and they were cursing every second just because of the waiting time they spent on loading and unloading on at the family dollar -

Everyone worried about DAC. Spoke with 4 different companies when I started wanting to come home more often... large companies. Not one of the HR people knew what the hell DAC was when I said I may have one small incident from clipping an illegally parked car. DAC is like the truck drivers boogeyman -
47 applications and 3 of them didn’t mention it. Only 5 of them were willing to overlook it or at least hear my story.
Your DAC will #### you. And you had better be worried about what it says.
