CR England?

You can plan on driving about 118,000 miles a year. So just 118,000 x your rater per mile. That how much you will make. Everyone hears $55,000-$65,000 a year and say I can do that. It actually UP TO $60,000 to make that kinda money you have to be a trainer and the truck is rolling 22 hours a day.

Your paying for the training by working so cheap. But you get experience you need to then move to a better paying job, if you can survive 1 year of driving. I got my CDL from CRE but that was a long time ago I think it was $1,000 plus working 1 year for them. Today they loan you like $6,000 if you quit you have to pay back $6,000 or something.

They basically put you on team freight and put two new drivers rolling down the road together. Their is no training freight, their is solo driving and team driving. You can't put two driver and run them 600 miles a day and make money. You are forced to run them at team driving 1,200 miles a day

 

One word: RUN!

I went through them, and the school part wasn't the bad part really, besides having 3 other students in a truck at the same time as you (no pressure there). But in Indiana where I was, they stick you in a horrible motel (and I've been homeless...I'm not picky) to wait God knows how long for a trainer. If you luck out on that Russian Roulette, good on you, because I didn't. My trainer would do nothing but yell and cuss in my face, and threaten me anytime I did something wrong. No exaggeration here, that's just how he literally acted, in a nutshell not to even mention specific douchebaggery...
And to add insult to injury, 3 days before my medical card came due (they knew), they had the @$$hole dump me at their Salt Lake City terminal, several hundred miles at least from home in Missouri. And they said "You'll need to find your own way back on your own dime, but feel free to give us a call back when you get stuff taken care of. Thanks!"
Just...don't. Don't do it. There's better companies out there. Use the resources on here, join the Ask A Veteran Trucker page/group on Facebook where you'll get people who'll actually answer your question 99% of the time without acting like a punk@$$ teenager hitting puberty, just try finding a better option. They're out there, and I wish I'd known that before I ####ed myself over by going with CR England.

 

People make fun of Swift .... Swift is easy peazy compared to Cheap Retarded England. And im freinds with one of the family lol. His last name is England and when no one is within hearing range the stories he tells ... He hasnt been in the company for a while , maybe its better now ? Wonder if anyone on here knows who im talking about ? His company just recently changed hands again.

 

Yes I took the same offer, and here's what I will tell you, all in all there are haters out there. But cre isn't a bad company overall. There will be trailer hunts and there will be bad trainers. (Don't be afraid to get off there truck at a terminal bc u will be assigned a new.one I did it 2 times) the only problem u may encouter is team driving. I quit.3.mk that ago a d I don't have the $9,000 they demanded so I'm now going back to them. A huge deal tho is don't ever go to a 3rd party school. I did knce and it was a #### hotel that had fleas and a delay filled danger laiden place on Fletcher NC. Also get ur permit before u apply. It cost $50 if I remember correctly and it'll save u a week

 

i started with cr england then 6 months later i was a 3rd week school instructor. Now i drive for wm.
