Why is starting pay such a joke for new drivers? I want to earn big bucks

    I get .45 a mile starting out. Just went solo after training and 6 months after hire I get bumped up to .49. Also with Oppurtunity to get up to .06 cents for pay for performance.

    Usually experienced drivers don't bump and tear up equipment. Not saying you would, but probably one reason.

    I always felt I should be multimillionaire porn star from the get go! But darn, it just didn't happen.

    How is that fair to the more experienced driver that's been loyal to the company for say five years? If you have lots of experience you might have more leverage but you can't expect to make top dollar fresh out of CDL school. It's that way in all industries.

    There's reality land and fantasy land think 45c per mile for a new driver is pure fantasy dude and your fantasy won't be coming true any time soon.

    Look around bro, a lot of people pay 50 cents/mile.... I pay .60 to .65 for flatbed work

    on a w2 with paid vacation, healthcare and matching 401k? or just another shady 1099 outfit claiming to pay good while cheating the driver out of tens of thousands in employee benefits?

    Hey buddy if you want all the fancy things you need to look for huge companies. I don't know many companies who pay all of that for you.
