I get .45 a mile starting out. Just went solo after training and 6 months after hire I get bumped up to .49. Also with Oppurtunity to get up to .06 cents for pay for performance.
Why is starting pay such a joke for new drivers? I want to earn big bucks

How is that fair to the more experienced driver that's been loyal to the company for say five years? If you have lots of experience you might have more leverage but you can't expect to make top dollar fresh out of CDL school. It's that way in all industries.Jarhed1964, BigBob410 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

Hey buddy if you want all the fancy things you need to look for huge companies. I don't know many companies who pay all of that for you.
