Hello,
I am searching for some advice/guidance on how to present incidents not reported on my MVR and CSA report when applying for a new carrier. One owner operator operation with two wrecks still in the litigation process and the final decision has not be declared. In 19 years of driving not one but two back to back nothing fatal or even real bad damage but need new carrier.
Do I mention these to my new carrier on the application or wait until the cases are closed with a final outcome?
Do former carriers have the right to mention the wrecks on employment verification?
If application is rejected does the carrier have to provide the reasons why?
Thanks in advance for your help and support.

If there was no ticket issued by law enforsement, and the state MVR does not show it, then you will be good there ( offical police / insurance report) , BUT since it is a CMV and did and does get reported to insurance company, it will show up on your CSA within 90 to 120 days.if you are on probation , till you show proof ( court record) that it is unsupervised and unrestricted , then your options decline .

Also, the DOT application requires that your previous employers be contacted ( last three years worth) so if the one you had accidents with fired/ terminated you, then the new one WILL find out.So in reply , if you resigned, or quit, tell them why. I've been down that road , and it takes forever to get straight, but in can be done
