Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

Is the old NCR cash register in the lobby? I stayed there probably five years ago when my truck was in the shop there at the Lenoir City yard. Pretty decent place, if I recall...

 

It is. Thought that was great. The old timer behind the desk was watching Gunsmoke when I walked in. I thought I went through a time warp. Not that I'm any spring chicken.

 

Ray doesn't drink any more...but then again...he doesn't drink any less either

A Crete doing 69-70 mph? Was heading thru Nebraska on I-80 and had problems to pass this International Pro Star, looked like the usual company truck. Did they raise the speed again?

 

Nope 62 with 65 on cruise. O/O maybe?

 

No idea, looked like the usual company truck. First time that I had a Crete with this speed.
But had a CR England one day doing 70 too or a Holland Enterprises doing 75+

 

Finished orientation. Assigned truck. Within an hour given a load to get me through home to set truck up and see family. I deliver Monday. Everyone I've spoken to seems happy with Crete many saying it's the best company they've worked for. Even the group in Marietta doing the Smith system due to incidents.

They will sell a truck to the driver if they want to go that route, a company truck has 5 digits and lease or O/O will only have 4 digits.
