A million dollars to clean it up?

It wasn’t a spill, it was a deliberate disposal down the drain.
I did fuel truck for a while, the computers on the truck keep track of the fuel, the boss still would have known he screwed up at the end of the day, even though he tried to hide his initial mistake. Then they would have been looking for the fuel or assumed he stole it.MagnumaMoose, mjd4277, UsualSuspect and 1 other person Thank this. -
2,000 gallons of diesel into a storm drain? What a despicable piece of garbage. $1 million seems like a bargain for that cleanup.

I remember reading in the Truckers News, years ago, about a driver that was arrested for changing his oil behind a Walmart. He had lined up with a square storm drain cover in the back of the store. He then proceeded to drain his oil into this storm drain while doing a self service on his truck. Thankful someone saw him doing it. People wonder why Walmarts don't want us there.

Like no one at the fuel farm would send the jobber a bill for the extra 2,000 gallons.
And you guys want drivers to be able to smoke weed?
What's even better is Swift will have him pulling a load this time next week.mjd4277, My Dog, UsualSuspect and 1 other person Thank this. -
In that particular case the oil went into a holding pond, but he still had to pay to clean it out.
