The last one one I had done we used the Eaton clutch and a Lipe disc. The shop had a pile of Eaton discs that the springs come out of. Mine added one more to the pile.

1 Spring was broken on mine to , 500K on it......but it does kinda work hard.
Most guys up here run a 2050 clutch, even with a 1850 engine.....Last edited: May 2, 2018

I posted the flywheel specs here a while back. I have yet to see a flywheel that was cut too much. Just take a measurement before you take it out and see where you stand, then give it a good visual inspection for any other issues and decide from there.
Turning flywheel specs
Someone already posted about a clutch install kit, they are worth every penny. The only thing they don't come with is the cross shafts, which you will almost certainly need to replace from the play you described.
Depending on the depth measurement you get, you may want to install a clutch brake spacer, using 2.5" as your reference. If you measure 2.6" after it's resurfaced, install a .100" thick clutch brake spacer to get the linkage adjustment back to the new position.Pipe 40, swaan, rollin coal and 2 others Thank this.
