JJ's First trainer Tip.
New guys are always asking what they need to bring to training.

Here's something you need to get and you need to get in advance before you come to school, You need to go to the travel centers of America website and apply for the road king card, also the Flying J website and get the frequent fueler card.

The benefits are every time you fuel the truck you get points and free shower credits, you can redeem your points for Merchandise.

The reason it is a good idea to do well in advance of training is because they mail your cards to you.

Other truck stops have similar programs but you can just apply and get your card on site.

I second that idea. Those are a MUST HAVE item out here, you will save a lot of money on showers with those.

good evening all,
its been a couple of weeks of training out here in WVC UT. everything went good, even coming down parleys with students that CANT DOWN SHIFT.........
past all today, will be looking for a good trainer next week.
Where are the best trainers at?????

onebadz, i'll still be here in WVC next week, would like to set down and chat with you after classes sometime. not sure how to meet up i guess you can just ask other students where "kansas" is.

Anyone can get them. but keep in mind that it takes atleast 50 gal of fuel before you get a shower credit. for a 4wheeler its better to pay the 10$. but it's not just for fuel if you buy anything in the store, restaurant or shop you get points. Jess does not drive and she has a roadking and flying j card. hope this helps.

 

meet in the Vip lounge you will see the next class and can't miss william, he is tall and has a deep georgia accent. as far as the comment about the non shifting student. I have been there and almost got put through the windshield by one who could not downshift. he didn't pass and was sent home. JJ.

 

Doing ok, actually, thinking about going back to driving, tired of the everyday grind. Not at Central though . Not sure where as of yet, see how the economy goes. How have you guys been??
