It looked to me like he could have built a support or "bridge" across the frame to set the dogbone on. I doubt he carries enough dunnage and steel to accomplish this tho. I had to stop watching, the constant moving of the camera made me dizzy..........
SAR, Oxbow and johndeere4020 Thank this. -
Tracks of machines are a tie down point? Never would have guessed

I know what you are saying about supporting both sides of the ram, and that would help. It would be a bit of a challenge to do though.
That was my thought as well. I would have probably just moved the hoe toward the front of the trailer enough to support it with the dogbone. It looks like he had room on the tractor for a bit more weight.
Thanks for your responses!SAR Thanks this. -
I would...

The insulted ran away when he figured out he wasn't going to find any worshippers among the many drivers that actually know what they're doing, but the insulter got a permanent time-out (probably for something else).buddyd157, johndeere4020 and Ruthless Thank this. -
It is a challenge, our 550 its the only way you can do it because the way it has to sit on the trailer. I’ve done it like truckdad said lots of times.
