Yup yup yup to what this guy says. Only engine that might benefit from the oil/atf is the old engines that use less then 5,000psi of fuel pressure in the injection system and those engines will run on about anything. Anything mid 90's and newer is just straight up diesel/biodiesel (20%max) in my book.

I’ve used power source, howes and on occasionally basis, Walmart 2 stroke oil. I prefer the cleaners though. I’m curious what marvel mystery oil will do. Haven’t tried it yet.
SAR Thanks this. -

Appreciate your info. It was added (ATF) as a test, which proved to work, and proved to CAT at least one injector was sticking.
Yesterday they (CAT) installed 6 new injectors (Yes, new, not reman) and today my horse pulled stumble free. No popping, no chugging no power drops / power loss.
I believe the term is "OMG". For the 1st time since owning this truck (Aug 2016) the truck is perfect.
Shamefull that it took so many trips to CAT. So much money spent (but i did replace every original part on the mechanical drive line, as you know)
And all the while, CAT continually said; "its your tranny"..."your clutch" "sensor issue" so , knowing the sensors harnesses etc were all dated back to 2003, i replaced them, and tore down my tranny, installed a new 2050 clutch, new front diff / power divider etc..etc..
Engine, tranny, both diffs, harnesses, fuel system (entirely) balanced driveline, all new.
Prior owner did a new rad, intercooler and had engine platinum inframed by CAT, and new full paint job.
Good to go for a while now i think.!!
So, i just want to thank everyone for all your support since i began this blog, it was really great to know not everyone just "drove on by".
I guess im old school. Never could i drive past a broke down trucker.
Started trucking 1981, been around Canada and crossed every border in the USA. Once even hauled a load to NJ., drove up on a ship and drove off in England, taking a "special" load to Berkshire England (that was.....interesting, challenging and politically enhanced, to say the least)
So thanks again guys. Ill stick my nose on here now and again, and when anyone posts anything on here it pops up on my opening page on my phone, so ill get back to you asap.
God bless.spsauerland, pushbroom, SAR and 4 others Thank this. -
Was this the first stumble free round ever...?
Oxbow Thanks this. -
AND THE SMOOTH RIDE, STUMBLE FREE CONTINUES. WOW, NEVER THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD COME, AND NOW IM INTO MY 3RD DAY.
CURED !!!
