It is. They’re nice people there. I usually back in and dolly down before I ever go inside to get a signature. I think they’re there 24-7 but not 100% sure.

I woke up early this morning and took off. My truck will only run 64 this morning. When I got it last week it would run 70. Something I’m missing? Hopefully this truck is not developing an issue too.

Sounds like you got someone’s truck who hadn’t been idling and you were running off of their rewards. If you’ve been idling it you finally reached the threshold percentage where it kicks your speed down.
I had the shop reset mine and played the no idle game last year. My old one ran 71, until the weather got warm and I went down to McAllen. I refuse to be without air conditioning and heat when I want it, so my truck only runs 65. I see guys in the Summer sleeping with the side door open at night at the Mission yard sweating their $$$ off because they want to run 5 mph faster. Not me.motocross25, Crusader66 and bigcat1124 Thank this. -
Wow, that stinks. Does the speed go back up on its own or do I have to have shop reset?Crusader66 Thanks this.

Once you lose it, it’s hard to get it back without a reset. You can try, but I doubt it will come back. Any of the terminals can reset it for you. Only takes about 5 minutes. In order to keep the speed you’ll have to kill the motor any time you’re not driving. No idling on your 10 hr break or anything. The rewards also go off of fuel mileage, so after a reset, you’ll have to drive about 60 mph for the first 100-200 miles. After that you should be able to bump it up.

Ok. Thanks for the info. Maybe I can swing by the yard after I pick up Monday before I head to Texas.

My old truck that laid down on me back in November would run 1 mph faster by setting the cruise then bumping the switch up a few times. This new one won’t do that though. It’s 65 all the way. Can’t bump the switch and get 66 out of it.

Other one had smartpass on it too. I was able to double tap the pedal and get 68mph for 3 minutes until I had done it 9-10 times in a day. I saved it for when I really needed it. This one doesn’t have it.

Spent the day in Winter Haven. Shopping, laundry and had they reset my idle times. Did find out something interesting. I assume it’s every truck, but when he hooked mine up to the computer, it showed 185 horsepower. No wonder it feels dogish all of the time. That’s crazy to me.

Mine runs at a lower rpm than my other one did. I just figured it was due to the auto vs 10 speed or a different axle ratio. I will say though, anytime I pull a grade loaded, I gain speed on 90% of the trucks around me.
Crusader66 and bigcat1124 Thank this.
