Everybody loves LS until they get a couple csa points then LS has those guys walking on SHARP eggshells... Being leased to LS is like having TQL as your main customer. Guilty until proven innocent, then once proven innocent... still guilty! Lolllll
But to original poster , LS is a great stepping stone in my opinion.
And to mr buckeye, the only benefit I’d see at LS with your situation is You can hang at home with no/minimal insurance cost. It’s funny how everybody says they love being leased to LS but when that Jacksonville area code calls they still shake in their boots. LS has 0 loyalty to their in house BCO’s , they rather replace you with a new guy that still has his arrow truck sales mudflaps on because he has a lower csa score... for now
To each his own. I will not try to sell it either way unless asked toKB3MMX Thanks this. -
I'm sure he knows that and it's his choice to make. No one else has the right to tell him otherwise. Getting your own authority isn't for everyone just like leasing on to a carrier isn't for everyone. The only right way is the way one chooses to run their business.Last edited: May 5, 2018

Go on your own, you get 100% of what the broker gives you.
Brokers, 3pl’s and logistics company’s are a free service that pass 100% of what their customers pay straight to their carriers.DSK333, RStewart, lynchy and 1 other person Thank this. -
After 6 years in Williston I'm still driving company. Their truck is their expense and I don't have the headaches. But still good money and some freedom to come and go. At 6 months I say you drive and learn it all before that commitment. If you're younger you have the time anyway. I pull chemical cause frac needs it without sitting stuck on lease roads like water or sand. Maybe you pull oil from site cause it's got to move too. Take your time and learn it all then figure your financials for a truck.
Lepton1 Thanks this.
