Dont know what the firewall is like on the 19's but i ran it through a spot in my 16..Just had to slice a lil hole in the rubber plug ment for wireing..
Its below the wiper arms next to steering shaft under the hood..

Slow...If i remember tomorrow ill look for it,im guessing it should be there cause i doubt fl will make that much of a change in their f/w..
Now that i think of it,might be a new firewall cause they did drop that detroit a lil lower and a lil further back..hhhhmmmmm...

Oh, that spot is there. But you don’t want it. Not unless you armor-up the cabling and construct a rigid bend. It’s a hard right turn against a sharp metal edge in any direction.

Running power under entry plate is easy. It it is electrically-Common with the circuit box (great new design). Access is the studs themselves. Pop the cover off.

It’s the lower half of the dash. One runs the coax thru the hinge seal where door electrics run.

As in my earlier post with pics. Unbolt the plastic panel between hood and door. Disconnect turn signal/running light lamp. Easy access.

    Remove this and see.

I usually ran my coax that way but just up behind that signal light panel and out between door and that panel to ant mount..No hard bends or pinches..Power came out through firewall and basically same direction but to battery....Tried to keep power and coax seperated as much as possible..
Tou mentioned that k0bg said it shouldnt make a diff but it does,i could hear the diff..

That firewall location is a far longer run. Access is by removing dashboard cluster. Can’t access from under steering column.

    Down A-pillar is easiest.

Have you had a look at the batteries in their sealed case?

Trace the circuit box feed. Where is advantage in going to the battery case (is where I am)?

Never had to worry about it since Crete had the black plastic and ASL had the old style (non-evo) chrome mirrors which didn't have chrome on the inner third or so. Wasn't an issue.

Here at VSMWC, they have evos with the chrome, so yeah. I had to move the antenna a little bit inboard. It's not much reflection but it *is* there.
