Talk about putting the horse before the cart......
Tb0n3, Brettj3876, AModelCat and 6 others Thank this. -
What kind of bed do you have? Rock tub? Dirt tub? Asphalt body?
Start calling dirt work and asphalt outfits, is what I'd recommend. Some of these may have a primary contractor who'll offer brokerage, some will contract you directly.
I gotta agree that you should've had this figured out before the fact.Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
waste of time, aggregate hauling doesn't pay squat.
Crude Truckin', spyder7723 and okiedokie Thank this. -
That's how it is down here. I can't believe how cheap the locals are willing to run here in Florida.FlaSwampRat, DrDieselUSA and Txdriver77 Thank this.

i did aggregate hauling for 3 months here in Texas, $10-15 a load, never again. could make more flipping burgers than hauling dirt. had an old boss call me that needed drivers, making good money now.
-
Do it every day here in florida for the last year and a half.
It's rough. Not even sure how I still have the truckFlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Look for a dump trucking company that you can lease on to there should be plenty in Tx.Don't try and get your own accounts starting off.Wish you the best of luck.

Real rough. So bad that its cheaper to pay someone to bring material to me than take my truck. The pit to my farm is right at 35 miles, a guy here will run two loads for 150 bucks.Ruthless Thanks this.

That's about what I get for 28.5 tons and similar mileage
