I don’t remember when T-ball started but for me it started when my step-son’s 4th grade school supply list came in the mail (1983) and the first item on the list was an electronic calculator for math class.
The other day I was in a meeting with the treasurer of an organization and as we were discussing things I was doing some ‘ciphering’ (as Jethro Clampett like to say) on my yellow pad. After the meeting on the phone he said that was the first time he had seen anyone do long multiplication in years. He always uses a calculator. Ugh.
So trans am has fifth wheel cameras now...

We are looking at putting deck on our house after I get OTR, we where at the Local Big Box Construction store, and was doing some multiplying and division for wood, length price etc..Wife pulls out the calculator on the idiot box...er Iphone and starts doing numbers. By the time she had found the app, punched in the numbers I was done with the calculations..She said how did you do that so fast??? It's called Math in my head, (truth be told when I was in school I couldn't add 5+5 but now I can do long division and multiplication in my head, while the wife is searching for her APP) was quite funny, stopped several places and not only did I put the numbers in my Internal Calculator, but I can also recall the numbers from the other stores. One joy of having an Edetic memory I guess.....Were is my participation trophy?tallinthesaddle4life, Highway Sailor and taodnt Thank this.

I don't understand why everybody is so resistant to new technology. I just spent $900 on my new Hiney Cam system. It Assures me proper placement of my Hiney any time I'm in an unfamiliar location. No matter the size or hight of the toilet, or lighting conditions I'm always in the proper position to "drop my load" with my Hiney Cam system

Except when the battery dies. Will you remember where to apply the TP, or will you call out for some AAA’s from AAA?
-
That is one of the great features of the Hiney Cam it's solar powered and only uses battery power on a cloudy day. Only drawback is cleaning the lens on the laser rangefinder and infrared camera after having Mexican food

They’ll probably go to mirrorless trucks in due time if it becomes a ‘thing’.
On one hand i can understand the simplicity from the cab. Extra cameras. 5th wheel unlock switches etc etc. saves on getting in and out of the cab however you still got to look around and inspect stuff so its just another shiny ball for companies to throw money away. -
While technology can be good...it also is making people lazy as can be ...

Western Distress will get them first, I'll bet.
Hell, they already have a pasty, and it's huge, on the driver's side lower windshield saying 'Hey, dummy, don't forget you're 13'6".'motocross25 Thanks this. -
I must be tired because that seems funny to me right now.
