I like my 12 cascadia with Cummins power ...fuel pump was updated long ago so no worries there .
Good fuel mileage and comfortable and get compliments on its appearance and didn't pay a lot for it .
612k on the clock now and haven't had to do anything ya wouldn't have to do on any other truck of that year .
I didn't wait until it started throwing codes to have the emissions system serviced and its been trouble free .
I did have some oil consumption issues with it for a while but a switch to rottella seems to have gotten that into a reasonable amount along with cutting the drains to 15 to 18k .
I don't run it hard and I don't idle any more than for warm ups and cool downs .
No way this motor will go to a million before an inframe but for 34 grand it's been a darn good truck that runs the east and west coasts out of Omaha weekly mostly heavy .

don't think I want a Pacar either no Cummings ..... Detroit and a freightliner got 650000 on this Detroit still going good knock on wood .... heard some $ $$$$ repair issues on pacar ... have a friend that payed the big $$$ for a new Pete and it starts rattling like a 73 mack .. quality is way down on them in and out of shop .. he has the pacar for the full euro effect. .

Thanks for all the input. If I do buy it, I would probably use it for a backup in case one of the other trucks goes down. We'll see, I will get the paperwork today and get some more information.
