Didn’t you see the signs? No 102” twins or 102” trailers over 28 1/2 feet.

Your job is to make money for your family. His job is to make money for the state. He did his job better than you that day. Educations are expensive.

i will be honest with u. i did see the sign. there was a way to stay on the same route but drive a few blocks around it then bck on route 11. patrol told me the directions. im tellin u guys so u wnt make same mistake i make. ill pay the ticket and accept the consequences. only reason i took tht route cause of a accident on northboud on i-81 around mile marker 180. which had a waitin time bumper to bumper for the next 2 hours. wouldnt u took tht risk too ? patrol told me its not gonna be on my license as a violation. but i did beat tht long traffic thou. it is still a beatable case by the way. ill hve tvc look at it and hve them bring it down to a cheaper citation

Can you do a trial by written declaration? If so, this needs to be the first line of defense. Because that cop was probably telling you, he's not going to litigate the case against you if you fight it. That's my take on it. This process I'm describing is free and will cost you 20 minutes of your time.

There's a 102 wide restriction through downtown Avoca. Clearly marked by signs.

These little towns need to make money somehow. Be glad you weren't in violation of the bridge law. They love to write $750 tickets for violation of the 41' rule.

This area has no restrictions on routes where you find yourself wondering why trucks are allowed on that route, yet other routes that you'd think were truck routes are restricted to trucks.
