Marten Transport- Money monkeys

Old Dominion especially has been running around the country like gang busters. Used to be where you only saw them primarily in the southeast, now they’re everywhere.

 

I here you man. I'm with a great company now since I left Marten. If things would have never changed I probably would still be there. But as you said the trend is almost the same everywhere but only a few are top notch.

 

They are 48 states. That terminal they built in Southaven, MS has 300 dock doors. They push ALOT of freight out of there!

Marten sure Takes the Cake! Apparently they have a firm that calls drivers when they quit. Asking questions why you quit. What the hell Marten isn't going to change their spots.

 

They will also hammer your DAC .

 

Not much Marten can say. But I'm very prepared if the issue arises.

I agree. I'm at ODFL and its great over here and will retire from here. I do miss the old Marten when the old man was alive. But like all those big reefer company's it's just about filling the seats and promising things that will never happen.

 

Worked for them a month when I lived near mondovi in 2013 .
Good pay ..good equipment ..always payed on time .
Horrible dispatch that wouldn't leave you alone .
Never again .
