Liquid Asphalt Tanker Wreck On The NJ Turnpike

I can't find out what caused the crash.

 

There is nothing in there that indicated any cause. Apparently it got rolled over.

That load in molten form would be pretty hot. I don't understand the fire part unless the tanker broke and it splashed over other stuff like emissions fluid etc.

A rollover by itself if true would be a preventable.

Lucky it's a saturday on the T'Pike and not say yesterday at the top for the Rush.

(I was going to say it was raining today pretty bad but in the pics there's not a cloud in the sky)

 

Wouldnt be surprised if a four wheeler tried to cut off the trucker with their bad driving (4 wheelers)

 

It would not surprise me either.

A dash cam will take care of that right quick. If the memory card is still recoverable.

I always dream of a body cam that transmit to my home computer in real time. So that if it is snatched or otherwise destroyed in a fight or something bad the video up to that moment is captured here at the house on my array.
