Quit wasting your time, change companies.
Where is your location? OK, found it; you're in Dallas.
Did you apply with those companies I recommended on your other thread; Schneider wasn't one of them.Last edited: May 20, 2018
sevenmph, RedRover, coastietruckin' and 1 other person Thank this. -
True but some people just can't do nights.
I'm the opposite I suffer doing dayshift work, lol.rabbiporkchop, Texas_hwy_287, bottomdumpin and 2 others Thank this. -
I’m sure that’s true, but is a week enough time to know? Being tired all the time will go away when (if) you get used to it, no social life? Seriously after a week? Please.

Black out the curtains, keep the room cool. Take some melatonin, and drink plenty of water. You realize that same 12-13 hours is rough in the 95 degree daytime weather that’s here already? If you worked 7am-7 or 8 pm what kind of life would you have? You want to be home daily with no experience put in the time, the good runs and jobs will become available.
coastietruckin', JReding, Lav-25 and 4 others Thank this. -
Well that depends on the individual and if they already have a understanding of there body clock. But I do understand your point.

I'm going to night shift after training, so a week probably.
I am not looking forward to night shift. I worked nights a *lot* in my younger days, and it ain't a good thing.
My rationale: it's better than being homeless.RedRover, coastietruckin', Lav-25 and 2 others Thank this. -
You are already there. My advice is tough it out for 1 year. Many doors will open that aren’t available now.
If you choose someone else, and there are better jobs than that for new drivers. Do your research better.Odin's Rabid Dog Thanks this.
