I have a mil light coming on for low fuel pressure in an IHC WORKSTAR MaxxForce 10 with 20 k. The light comes on at random always when pulling a hill and I lose alot of power. If I drive it for 20-30 min and shut the truck down, it will not come back on and the power is fine. If I try to immediately shut the truck down, the light will go away but comes back on after hitting a couple gears and the power uphill is affected. Been to the dealer 6 times and they replaced the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, and cleaned the tanks and the fuel strainer. They have no idea, does any have any suggestions?

Like a fuel line collapsing, or a fuel filter inner collapsing. What fuel filters are you using?. Sometimes when a fuel filter gets a bit of moisture, it tends to collapse, and cause a restriction.

No one tested injectors.. Fuel filter was new from the factory with 12k on it before the truck started acting up.. Could it be anything electrical? The truck is 2 months old

Ok, was the dealer able to reproduce the problem? Your engine has the electric fuel pump. This is probably an intermittent wiring problem with fuel pump. Look for any hidden filters, it happens! Follow the fuel lines from the tank to the engine as best as possible. Some times they run to the passenger side where there is a another filter there hiding. Sometimes filter bases get moved around and tucked under the cab when the bodies are put on. If the problem can be reproduced then they can run the fuel from a test line to the tank to rule out the pick up tubes or fuel lines.

Shaggy, these are the latest heui type injectors, dealers don't pop test these. What test are you talking about?

should still be covered under warranty, maybe simply a fuel filter

It could be something in tank getting sucked up onto the stand pipe.

Your pressure is perfect. 80-100 psi is spec.
