I was promised a Magenta crayon by the recruiter. After I got my CDL, I called some companies. It went something like this.
Me: “Well, today is your lucky day(insert company name) I have my CDL.”
Them: “how much experience?”
Me: “before we discuss that, let me tell you about me. I don’t drive over 300 miles a day, I don’t drive at night, I absolutely don’t pre-trip or fix anything, and I think I deserve $100k a year and home daily. No east coast, no weekends and no physical labor.”
Them: “did you just call here? I swear that sounds just like every driver we talk to these days.”
