O/O Insurance with no experience

Also I know people running 30 -50 trucks operations and have like 30% just out of school drivers and about 20% of they're drivers need a point or 2 to get licence suspended by points

I don't have general liability, though I louse some freight cause of it, some customers want to see it, and for a huge amount. I also don't have workman comp. Just auto liability 1000000.00
100000.00 cargo, reefer breakdown is covered and 1000.00 deductible on cargo

One thing most people forget is cargo insurance. That is the hardest to get.

 

####, that is pretty high! My dad is local ontario though so I'd imagine it's lower for ontario only not cross border...

 

Progressive as of 2016. No longer takes new/start up. I was lucky that i had a non truck policy before that while leased to a carrier. 7200.00. 1mil/1mil. 100k cargo. Only had 10k cargo for awhile. Because it cover the loads. Had to go to 100k because of one customer. Same cargo. Dont over insure. Cargo is actually cheap. If you dont have employees workmans comp is cheap. Like 180? In ohio anyhow

I’m pulling gas tankers so my required insurance is different from freight my first year is costing me about $30k including my trailers
