How are the hiring practices of the white Volvo companies in the Chicago area different?

 

Well, if your neck isn't larger than 17 inches and you don't snore, about the only other qualification for a trainee is a CDL license and a med card. Not sure your statement would match up with this unfortunate incident. Polk was a trainee, meaning he probably just got his CDL that's why he was out with a trainer. Werner did not listen to their driver instructor. Ever had that problem with your FM? And if capital murder was enforced, this guy wouldn't be sitting in prison for fifty years and a five thousand dollar fine. Talk about ridiculous.

 

A man lost his life, was brutally stabbed to death. There is a grieving family out there without a father, a grandpa, an uncle..... That's the picture I see.

 

I get the joke, but I'm sure you have known some decent people who, for whatever reason, are happy with their driving career with some of these mega- crap-carriers. I like to imagine that this victim was one of those decent people, though I can't be sure.
If the victim were more like the one in the "Werner trainer craps himself" post, then his murder would seem more justifiable to me, I don't know if my conscience can admit that
