He probably saved prime some money either way. If he took it to the shop they most likely paid less for all the parts he run to the ground, than they would for roadside supersingle replace x2.

Obviously disgruntled over the fuel bonus.

Company I'm with recently did away with the fuel bonus and just averaged the potential bonus amounts and added them to the CPM pay.
The hardest working drivers were often not getting fuel bonuses [as they were structured], while the drivers who spent the most time at home or didn't spend much time up north a particular quarter were usually the ones getting them, and skewing the numbers. Veteran and top performer drivers complained, and they finally gave up on it.Dave_in_AZ, Brettj3876 and tucker Thank this. -
But did it improve mileage? I feel like I've missed something here. Could it be combined with tireless trailer technology to lower costs and incentivise managers with new boats?Last edited: May 28, 2018
