What exactly are 'super truckers' in trucking

The professional is that guy that gets in, gets done and gets out. No fanfare, no witnesses. Good, solid driver.

The supertrucker is the opposite. Speeding, cutting people off, jake brake blaring, loud mouth bloviating braggart. Needs the audience. He starts volunteering employment history because he is going to talk down to everyone in listening distance. He’s not a top level driver or even a tough guy. Never is.

Most people forgot the infamous phrase " You ain t gonna believe this", I picked up a load of produce in Salinas Friday morning 6am, and I delivered to Publix in Dacula, Ga at 9pm Saturday night. I reloaded in Gainesville, GA with a load of chicken 10am Sunday morning, and was back in CA Monday night. I only stopped once for fuel, coffee, and cigarettes.

 

I totally disagree with these guys saying that having a bad ### rig with chrome and chicken lights makes you a super trucker. It's all about the mentality and behavior of the driver.

 

Yeah, that's some serious truckin'. But I bet you didn't do that AND have to drive through 1-2 feet of snow between Williams and Grants, AND stop by in OKC for a few hours to get busy with girlfriend #3 (and her girlfriend)

 

That’s debatable, the more chicken lights then the longer it takes them after the sun has set and it’s dark for them to turn on their headlights.

 

Actually, girl truckers seem to have the most to prove......In my experience.
