Im not a trucker....yet and I'm sure its been said many of times here but I need to just get it off my chest because it pisses me off just about worse than anything else(aint really pointing towards the truck drivers out there). Don't ride in the hammer lane like it's going out of style and if youre gonna get in it dont slow down and go slower than the car that was in front of ya. It's called a passing lane for a reason. you're just making everybodies lives that much harder. Like i've said before to all you truckers, thank you for what you do, keep on truckin. :biggrin_25519:

P.S. Learn to merge before getting on the interstate.

    Is that for the 4-Wheelers?

My biggest gripe is that my big ol' truck is invisible until I put the signals on to change lanes or turn. Then all of the sudden I'm like the elephant in the room.... :biggrin_2559:

oh yea, i think its funny when a big rig is trying to merge and cars wont slow down or speed up and as soon as that truck gets on they either slam their brakes or change lanes real fast like they couldnt see that beast trying to get on.

I don't suppose hills and slower trucks in the right lane are involved in this .
Anyway , I hope you feel better even if all your post gets for a response is yawns and rolled eyes .

When you do pass a big rig, don't stop half way up the trailer and look at the "nice preety blonking light". It's not a Christmas light. It means that if you don't do something fast, something BIG is coming to meet you .:biggrin_2551:

no, I know that truckers know what they are doing and I feel safer around them than the other people out there, i always give them their space, if they are going up or down a hill or grade I give them all the room they need. i asure you Im not one of those people that fly down them grades gets in front of a truck and hit my brakes nor do i get in front of them goin up a hill and slow down

Perhaps this is the thread to point out one of my biggest pet peeves on the road. It is an ACCELERATION lane, people! You are supposed to SPEED UP to merge onto the interstate! How many times have we seen a car coming up the ramp, judged the distance and time for them to merge, slowed down or moved over if we needed to and - brake lights! - they SLOW DOWN before getting on! So annoying - for us, for them, and for others coming up the same "get on" ramp. Sometimes I just stay put in the right hand lane and let THEM merge... after all, it's their yield sign.
