I’m picking up stakes and getting out of California, heading for the Ozarks. My question is, when I get there and trade my CA CDL for a MO CDL, what will be required? Do I have to test all over again or is it just a trade straight across? My CA is good till 11/19 if that makes any difference.
Thanks for any info, appreciate it.

Jerry Brown sets permanent California water use restrictions
I don't blame you. You now only get 55 gallons of water per day. Soon to be 50. -
HA! I’m on a well that puts out 100 gpm, but the county has never said anything about a limit. Although, there has been talk of putting meters on wells, but it’s still just talk here.

Google "Missouri DMV" and it's somewhere on there.

Several years ago in California, I remember reading an article about a campground and the campers weren't allowed to take water from a creek running through the campground because the governor said it interfered with the natural eco system. The authorities said, "We'll be monitoring this campground and better not catch any campers taking water."Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this.

I don't know for certain but I believe you have to take the written test again. I had to do that when I changed states and that was with a class d license. We changed states several times when I was growing up and my parents always had to retake the written test each time we moved. Of course the last move was in 2000 so things may have changed. Hopefully someone with more recent experience with this will chime in.
dclerici1 Thanks this. -
I have changed from Montana to Texas. Then Texas to Arkansas. Everything transfered over without any tests. Except for Hazmat. Haz didn't transfer. Had to do the whole fingerprinting and background written test again.

You only have to take the hazmat test. You will need a birth certificate or passport and proof of residence.
