    I had issues with the clutch not engaging right in a mack pinnacle and it turned out to be the air assist cyclinder was bad

    When you have the clutch replaced, make sure you tell the mechanic to put a good quality grease like Lucas red all over the flywheel face. Most mechanics don’t do this and when you tell him to specifically do this, he will think to himself “dam a driver that knows his ####

    May not be clutch, my new 1800 lb clutch would slip under hard acceleration, don’t think it was the red grease but something to do with the 750 HP program.

    1800 will hold it after break in, now I have a 2050 clutch and less horse power

    I’ve had same problem intermittently for about a month.... on hard pulls same symptoms.... I had new clutch installed roughly 140k miles ago ... about 2 years ago. I had it adjusted Friday.... no issues so far!!
