Because the powers that be don't know, or care who Powder Joints is. All about money? Maybe. We can't really say, only speculate. Power grab? Maybe. We can't really say, only speculate. The line theyre sticking with is safety. Unfortunately, there were some people out there that weren't safe and it was enough to prompt a change. You may be responsible, but others haven't been..While it may not have happened that much, it's enough to give the powers that be ammunition to push a law through. Don't be mad at your leaders. Be mad at the few that ruined it for everyone.

Im not mad at anyone, just saying if the american public just sits and watches as the powers that be erode our rights without getting involved then they can not complain. My career is basicly over its up to you newer drivers to decide what you will or wont put up with.

Well they'll put up with elogs....anybody starting within the last 5 years has never known a paper logs so this will be the norm quickly. I don't look at elogs as eroding our rights. It's just another way to keep time. It's still 11 hrs a day to drive. Plenty of time to make money.

    Davidduhon1 Thanks this.

I have no problems with elogs them selves, I do believe that most drivers I have known over the years had a very poor understanding of the logging requirements so it certainly solves some of the issues, I don't care for being parked for 10 hours, I do use the 2 / 8 split very frequently, but I believe I felt more rested when I go do a 5 / 5 split. But I digress, and realize those days are long gone. It is a shame that a whole industry must be completely controlled to keep a few inline, but thats the way it is, the masses suffer because of the ignorance of a few.

if i take a drug or alchohol test i pass or fail, how does a clock decide if im tired or not? cattle haulers have an exemption now, that would be like giving different limits on an alchohol test to different people? explain how that makes sense. i didnt know there was an exemption on this so called safety

sometimes i think the same people making the rules in trucking are the same people making them in Nascar, and they all preach the same thing, safety, of course you want drivers safe, for the same reason you want cattle safe, profit. although nascar can profit when someone like dale earnhardt dies they milk it for all its worth, but you cant kill all the cattle or the profits gone . lol

No brother, that's only the state law makers legalizing weed. They are no working on the grand scale. All these regs on us are the feds at work.
