3 car hauler questions...

That's exactly what I did in March 2014. CDL A no air brake. Been hauling with my 3500 and 3 car trailer since. Took the test with my truck and trailer. Just needed a CDL driver to ride alone to the test site. Get'er done, go make some $$$

 

Which isnt a problem. Im just trying to find the best vehicle for what im trying to do. Might even buy a 5 pack

Okay I am doing a little more research, so I can get a CDL A without those endorsements and it wont affect me legally? Correct

 

Actually, no air brake and an auto only really isn't an endorsement as much as it is a restriction on your lic.

 

Totally agree on this. I started in with a f350 and 51' Take 3
Ended up cutting the Take 3 down after I got 3 tickets for overlength. This was in Houston Area.

 

What was the length limit that you were going over? And was it a state rule that was the issue? I’m in the processing of buying the truck/trailer and want to understand the length requirements.
