    Absolutely. Plus I made sure they had paper logs on hand in case of a malfunction.

    The regs state a minimum of 7 or 8 pages (I forget which) needs to be in the truck, so good.

    Okay, got the first driver off to NC with his ELD. Just found out two drivers had been taking out a truck with an ELD and never received training. They stayed within the air mile radius but they drove with the ELD beeping the entire way. LOL. Oh good gravy.

    I’ve been out since Sunday with mine.
    In Florida now and going to make a run for home in ny tomorrow.
    Sure hope my hours hold out.
    So far the Eld functions a hundred times better than than my old VDO aobrd did.
    So in the end I am not happy with the eld rule but I am happy with this VDO ELD.

    @Hulld please answer to my questions
    1. during roadside inspection the officer can see when you started the engine and stopped it
    2. can he see edits/corrections with annotations
    3. location names are editable ?
    can you post a picture of a log printed by device?

    Fuel receipt lists a location, not a distance and direction from a population center of 6000 or more.

    That gets a little funny on the lower west side of Chicago, when you see the location nearby of some place you have never heard of. I'm sure there's other places, too.

    wow. I am experiencing same thing in north side of LA. unheard town's names )))) Also when I park it shows Los Angeles, in the morning it shows 6.5m north of somewhere..
