I was with the state way back before trucking in a particular employment which I wont disclose here. Needless to say there was a witnessed child molestor in our place of employment once. I can tell you that the State used all resources and even though I acted in my job normally there you could tell right away there were some numbers of States plains in there hunting him. I think they got him. Not too certain though. That kind of stuff... it reminds me of something out of a Book. If you see evil or sin and say nothing, you are guilty in a roundabout way because sin and darkness flourishes when good men stay silent or do not allow the law to enforce.

It would not be my only experience with predators, had one in my family when I was 8 and i actually had the guff to march in there and confront him directly. (He exploded. The state got through with him in the end.) Most kids at 8 don't have that mettle. I guess I grew up a little too fast.

Trucking companies are filled with suits who could care less about the new hires. There are a number of exceptions to this problem I am happy to say from my own experiences thankfully. However if you have a trailer of 50 newbies in Orientation (All ages, all ethnic, all experience levels) on monday you expect losses by wedesnday. You cannot afford to get too nice with some who might fail drug tests or are gone for a variety of anything and not hired. What they CAN do try to be more decent and with a little better food. They already spent a dollar getting them there, least they can do is feed them something else besides day old lettuce and rubber fried something. Millions of dollars out there in the company yard and only knows how many more millions are flowing daily and they cannot stand to spend a dollar feeding these guests through orientation. I have a problem with that.

If I was a company you would be fed during your orientation the way you like it. I might not be able to keep you but you wont have the troubles that apparently infest some of the worser companies out there.
