My bed will come out to 22' and my trailer deck will be 46' roughly without rear overhang.

    Stan,

    Who’s building your stinger setup?

It's down at Sun Country as we speak, hoping to see it by the end of July/first of Aug?

Is that an Argosy in front of that? I don't remember the last time I even saw one.

Yes it was and I haven’t seen one in a while either. Probably one of the better cab overs back in the day.

    BigBob410, Hammer166 and brian991219 Thank this.

Yep I know, but I think my "dream" of a stinger is dead, it just doesn't work out as planned without the cabover, but I DO thank you for the pic, I love seeing the "different" setups!!!!

    BigBob410 Thanks this.

Hey DAF, I simply can't get enough weight on the front axle with a hood, yes I can stretch my wb and do a longer deck shorter trailer, but then that limits me to only three vehicles, with the extra 5' less "cab" you have the same wb and deck length, trailer length needed to make your "split" work, BUT you can run that first vehicle 5' further forward, which shifts a ton more weight on the ft ax, because with ever foot/inch you get that front wheel forward of the axle you are also getting the rear axle closer to drives, it's like a teeter totter in effect, and to make it work, (at least for what I needed) it just simply has to be a cabover?

    BigBob410 and brian991219 Thank this.

I honestly think a different coupling would solve some or all off your issues.

Look how close you could get the coupling to the drive.

BigBob410 and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this.
