I’ve seen it a lot too, always drives slow and leans to the left. But the driver didn’t look fat.
I wonder if he was pulling off the shoulderNavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Or pulling back onto the road from the shoulder. The news in that area interviewed someone that was at the scene just after it had happened. They said that the driver was alive but trapped in the truck when the fire started. They tried fire extinguishers but couldn't get the fire out. Driver passed, hopefully before the fire got him.
tucker Thanks this. -
The driver that died was a friend. I had not heard that he was still alive before the fire started..... I hope he did not burn alive. RIP Rick Crawford

My condolences Sharky88.
Sharky88 Thanks this. -
Corner said smoke inhalation killed him first. That not much help but know he did not die from burning to death.
Sharky88 Thanks this. -
That's good well not good but at least he didn't die burning that would have been horrible

RIP driver.

Those #### containers are built like a vault. No crush to them.

Not much info from the article. I wonder if the lead truck was going so slow that when the bedbugger hit him it pushed the trailer off to the shoulder. Or, and this is happening too often, the lead truck jumped onto the interstate from the shoulder without giving two hoots about traffic, and the bedbugger had nowhere to go?
Oorrrr something else not so obvious?
