I'll be taking the CDL written test tomorrow to get my permit. I'm fairly confident I'll pass. I was just wondering if any one had taken the test reciently and if so is it as easy as some of the practice tests ive taken online. I took one of them on the schneider site and got 100% on nearly every part. I took another test at http://www.testprepreview.com/cdl_practice.htm
I did very well on this test as well. It just seems as if these questions are too easy. I was wondering if the real test questions were anything like these. Do I have anything to worry about?

Dude this is so different for everyone it's impossible to say. I didn't do any practice tests at all, not even the ones at the school (I did read the manual though). Not only did I pass the first time, I did all 3 sections in a total of 18 minutes because they were closing.
Some people take it 3 and 4 times, the record at the school was 32! -
You shouldn't have any problems.

Toast,
Good luck tomorrow, I'm sure you'll do fine! I took several practice tests before the real thing and found the actual test to be easier than the practice tests I'd taken.
IronRydrToast321 Thanks this. -

I am taking the CDl test myself tommorrow and have the same concerns. I have not been in the Washington State DMV office in quite a few years. I am not sure wha types of question they use. I have been using cdlpass software which uses the same questions that the above link uses. I have been getting some high scores. Has anyone taken a washingtonstate general writting test lately? What should I expect?

I remember mines, 2 weeks ago, aced it so fast I did the other endorsements and passed them
Just study and study and alot of questions are still common sense areas and just think of being Safe and Cautious -
I always thought it was best to study the material on which the test is based. State test...? State study guide... That's for test preperation. Now knowledge in general is always a good thing. You'll find that passing this first test is just the begining, and you'll be "studying" for quite a while. And not just to pass tests, but to keep yourself informed. You'll likely do just fine. Good luck!

Yes I have been studying the manual and the State Guide. I am using software to get used to taking the test to get a feel for it. I agree driving is learning which developes into wisdom.
I am just trying get myself relaxed and I do not want to waste my time on something that does not work. I did call a driving school local to me who did asnwer the questions I had. I am passing the practice tests in the mid nineties.
Thanks
