There is nothing to be sorry about. The one good thing about this forum is that you can hear many different views about the same thing whether they be true or not. But isn't that half the fun?

The PX-6 (ISB) and PX-8 (ISC) are Cummins engines. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they have a PX-16 (ISX).

the company i drive for as three of the daf engines currently testing them for kenworth. I have talked to 2 of the drivers and they liked them just said they did not pull that good compared to the cats but had not had any problems with them.

What other Engine pulls like a Cat??? Another CAT!!!! Cat's pull the best but I can't complain about the ISX 550 I had a cat would out pull me up a hill but I passed him when he stopped for fuel more then I did...LOL
Ok now I hope Paccar is taking this engine development to hart and will put out a good engine line that has the power and pull of a Cat but with a lot better MPG -
Guys stay far away from pacaar engines! I owned 2 dafs , I bought both brand new, engine one lasted 230,000 kms and no2 lasted 540,000kms, kilometres not miles, those were euro 3 engines and I know from quiete a few hauliers here that bought the new mx that those are even worse! Burning oil, cracking and warping heads, using coolant like it's going out af fashion and dropping valves . Those 2 trucks nearly broke me, do yourselves a favour and stick to the engines you know, you'll be much better off!
